At 28 years of age, Amadeo Diricco of Providence, Rhode Island is a big guy with an even bigger and more powerful voice who had to be pushed by his wife and coaxed by the rest of his family to try out for the upcoming Season 9 American Idol competition in Boston, MA.

And it is a very good thing that Amadeo Diricco did show up because he impressed the judges favorably when he sang “Hoochie Coochie Man” by Muddy Waters. As a matter of fact, Amadeo Diricco impressed the judges enough to have been awarded the golden ticket to Hollywood.
