Saying that she is headstrong and determined to make a better life for herself and her young son, 21 year old Ashley Hobbs who is originally from Cleveland, OH has been living in Atlanta, GA for the past eight years.

And so, auditioning for the Fox Season 9 American Idol reality show in Atlanta, GA was rather convenient for her. And then having impressed the judges to hand her the longed for golden ticket to Hollywood, it was also a dream come true.

Well, it was actually only the beginning of a dream come true because now Ashley Hobbs has to compete all over again.
