No less hopeful, no less eager and no less nervous than anyone else around her; Ashlyn Brady joined an overwhelmingly huge crowd of many thousands to audition for the season 9 American Idol, Fox’s singing talent search reality show and she made it through the initial phase.

Well, congratulations are in order but none of us should bring out the champagne yet because the road before Ashlyn Brady is still very long and most likely also somewhat rocky. So, are we being pessimistic? No, not at all! We are just seeing the reality of this American Idol competition and we know from past experiences that attaining the title of American Idol is not at all easy.


Yes, Ashlyn Brady is talented. And yes, she is also very motivated, highly energetic, minutely focused and always willing to work hard to meet her goals. But you know what? She is not alone in this because, as we have already mentioned, there are many thousand competing against.
