Jermaine Sellers is only 26 years old but he’s got his hands full with duties and obligations as well as having plenty of singing experience under his slim belt.

Jermaine Sellers had appeared on BET’s “Sunday Best” to finish in third place and he is working on a new show with BET called “106 & Park Generation Gospel.” Jermaine also appear on the “Bobby Jones Gospel” show, he has been on a singing tour with Tyler Perry’s play “The Marriage Counselor,” he has also toured with R&B singer Monica and he had performed on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. On top of all that, Jermaine has been taking care of his ill mother since he was 17.

In an attempt to try out for the Season 9 American Idol completion, Jermaine Sellers showed up before the judges in Atlanta, GA, soulfully sang “What if God Was One of Us” by Joan Osborne and was unanimously handed the golden ticket to Hollywood. As a matter of fact, he was one of the few contestants who actually wowed the judges of the Fox American Idol singing talent search reality show as they called his performance inspiring.
