At 29, no one in the right mind can possibly claim that Krissa Quill is old but she is most definitely considered among the older contestants for Season 9 of the American Idol competition. And you know what?

Her age certainly shows. But, no! Not in wrinkles and sagging skin but rather in her maturity, in her focus and in her stage presense.

Krissa is most definitely a contender on which America should keep a watchful eye because she has the talent, the drive, the determination and, now, the opportunity to reach for the stars and to capture stardom.

The fact that Krissa graduated from the same Dunwoody High School in Atlanta, Georgia as did Ryan John Seacrest (the well known radio and television host, the accomplished television producer and the successful entrepreneur) does not necessarily contribute to her musical singing career. The fact that she has lost a beloved brother in Iraq (USMC) does not necessarily improve her talent. And the fact that she tends bars at Halo and Dantan’s does not guarantee and booming singing future. However, all these facts add to her depth, and broad perspective and her far reaching experience and those do indeed add quality to her singing, a quality which was acknowledged when she had won the Atlanta Idol Contest.
