Michael Sarver will provide the rocker element to this years American Idol. I dug up some info on Michael and found that he is / was a member of the rock band out of Los Angels "Screaming Skulls". He lists many bands I have enjoyed ….
Rock N Roll stuff from the ramones, the clash, sex pistols and more. He even mentions the god father of punk, Iggy Pop. Can a guy who like Iggy make it through to Hollywood, my bet would be no. But I think it would be great if he proves me wrong.
On an interesting note Screaming Skulls puts out their own music on their own record label, cool indeed.

Yes, I think you have the wrong Michael Sarver. He is not a rocker, in fact, He is the music minister at my church in Jasper Texas. A very fine Christian young man. He will make it far in this competition.
michael sarver is a perfect example of a gifted young man that adores his family and has taken this opportunity to possibly do great things for that family. With Michael it truly is ‘what you see is what you get’! He has a voice of an angel and has only honorable intentions. I think he will do great!
