At twenty four years of age, Rachel Potter originally comes from Seminole, Florida although she has recently relocated to New York City to pursue an acting career. Prior to moving Rachel Potter performed at Disney World and she had tried out for the Season 8 American Idol but never made it past first base.

This year, Rachel Potter tried out once again by singing Martina McBride’s “Broken Wing” in Orlando, Florida and favorably impressed the judges who invited her to come back for the second phase of the ninth season American Idol singing talent search reality show.

Now that she has made it through the first phase, will Rachel be just as successful with the second, third and so on phases? We at American Buzz do not have that kind of foresight of predictive powers be we do know beyond the slightest doubt that Rachel Potter has the innate talent, the powerful voice, the tenacious drive and the passion which are all qualities of a true star.
