Having been encouraged by her vocal coach to audition for the Fox Season 9 American Idol singing talent search reality show, Shannon Turner joined a crowd of an estimated 9 thousand to appear before the judges of this season’s competition.

Well, she did it! Shannon, whose full name is actually Shannon Ann Marie Turner, impressed the judges and received the golden ticket to Hollywood. Congratulations, Shannon. Good job!

We at American Buzz, however, are not surprised that Shannon, the twin sister with short blue hair from New York, NY made it because we see her true talent. What about you?
