Ashley Anderson, from the big state of Texas could be the singer song writer / poet type for this years season 8 American Idol. She has a soulful voice and sings in a laid back style. Since she was a young child Ashley has had a love of music and dance.. chances are she will make it into the Hollywood rounds and possibly past them.

Asa Barnes, it is a name that hardcore idol fans may remember from season 4 where he made to the top 75 but was cut in one of the dreaded "rooms". This year Asa is back to give AI8 a shot.

Asa is 28 years old and leads the school band at Smith Hill Middle School.
